Coming Home To A Good Community
When looking for a home, homebuyers usually consider factors such as location, size, price, and amenities. However, an aspect that sometimes gets overlooked, but is equally important, is the community in which the home is located. The community can significantly impact a homebuyer's decision-making process and ultimately influence their overall satisfaction with their new home.
Finding a Sense of Belonging
For most families, the quality of community living is realized only after moving in. Rozell Joy Co, wife of an OFW and currently living in Parc Regency Residences in Iloilo, shares, “Nung una medyo nangangapa pa kase pagkabili namin, after two months, bumalik na ng barko yung asawa ko. The next time her husband came home, they started bonding with their neighbors: “nung bumaba na yung asawa ko, nakasali kami sa 1st Christmas party ng phase J. So dun nagkakilala kami ng mga neighbor namin,” says Joy. And the rest is history: “umpisa nun, nakakapag-adjust na, and then na-adapt na namin yung buhay dito sa Parc kahit wala kaming kamag-anak.”
Kapitbahay, Kapitbuhay
Rozell also adds how grateful she is to be part of the Parc Regency community. The strong bonds with neighbors offers a support system that feels like a second family: “Yung mga neighbor namin, naging kamag-anak na rin kung tawagin kase hindi lang sila parang friends. Even her child appreciates the closeness that exists among families in the community: “Minsan tinanong ko yung anak ko ‘gusto mo pa bang umalis rito, lumipat tayo sa ibang lugar, o bumalik tayo sa probinsya? Ayaw nya. Masaya raw sya rito. She also boasts of the community’s safety: “nakakatulog kami nang kumportable ng anak ko na walang iniisip na baka may mangyari overnight,” she avers.
Community Builder with a Heart: Fostering Connection and Unity
Being a community builder with a heart, Profriends goes beyond constructing houses--- it strives to create a strong sense of connection and unity among its homeowners. Through its property management teams, efforts are closely coordinated with homeowners to promote engagement and inclusivity and foster a culture of care and respect. This is being done by organizing various community events, cultivating green spaces, and supporting local initiatives, including those of neighboring areas.
The Community Makes You More “At Home”
A good community is a big factor that appeals to homeowners and eventually make them stay. For her, buying from Profriends does not just mean buying a house and lot, it also means being embraced by a community where you can truly feel at home.
