St. Edward School: Celebrating 13 Years of Edwardian Excellence
St. Edward School (SES), a K to 12 learning institution with two campuses inside Profriends’ flagship project, Lancaster New City, recently celebrated its 13th anniversary. Since its establishment in 2012, SES steadily adhered to its mission-vision of being committed to engage a family – centred community in developing citizens who are excellent in academics, well-formed in character and catalysts for social transformation.
Students take lead in different school organizations and would mentor younger org members to prepare them to lead in the future. One student shared how difficult it was to let go of St. Edward when he was about to graduate, saying how he came to love everything about the school: “Ang hirap niyang i-let go kasi lagi kong sinasabi, ang sarap niyang mahalin. Iiwan ko rin po kasi yung mga batang tinuturuan namin sa publication org namin. Yun yung mami-miss ko, yung mga bata, yung community, yung mga teachers na talagang hinubog ako,” said St. Edward School alumni Alexander Aranas.
For more than a decade, the institution has proudly served the communities within and around Lancaster New City. It has earned recognition in academics, sports, culture and the arts, youth leadership, and campus journalism competitions.
This year, the school will have 176 senior graduates, in addition to over 2,400 alumni it has already produced across elementary to senior high school since its establishment in 2012.
