A delegation from Angeles University Foundation (AUF), headed by its president, Dr. Joseph Angeles, recently toured the proposed site of its first campus outside its base in Angeles City, Pampanga. After its first concrete pouring last March 2025, Westwind’s construction is rapidly progressing. Profriends Kapitbuhays in Cavite are gearing-up for the AlabFest Community-Led Fun Run this June 2025. Organized by GalingPinas’ youth volunteers, the event will be one of their main projects for the year that upholds their commitment to build a thriving community by empowering and engaging fellow youths through relevant, community-based, and high-impact activities. The Department of Transportation recently announced that Phase 1 of the Cavite Extension of the Light Rail Transit (LRT) 1 is set to become operational on Saturday, November 16, 2024. This development will benefit commuters from south of Metro Manila as the facility extends its services from Pasay to Paranaque. The additional six kilometers connecting from LRT 1’s Baclaran station will include five additional stops: Redemptorist – Aseana Station, MIA Road Station, Asia World (PITX) Station, Ninoy Aquino Avenue Station, and Dr. Santos (formerly Sucat) Station.
